CSE coordinates the San Diego Regional Clean Cities Coalition comprised of public and private sector stakeholders focused on increasing the use of alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicles.
Through planning, education and outreach, CSE and its local partners promote alternative and renewable fuels, idle-reduction measures, fuel economy improvements, emerging technologies and transportation infrastructure supporting electricity, ethanol, natural gas, propane, hydrogen and biodiesel.
The San Diego Regional Clean Cities Coalition is one of about 100 coalitions nationwide funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
