The Senior Training Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources, this position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in designing and executing impactful training initiatives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with department directors and managers to identify training needs and develop targeted programs.
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programs that align with organizational goals and foster employee development. Knit these various programs into an overall CSE University experience for employees and managers.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training. Instructional techniques and formats should include staff, specialist, and management-focused level material.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Oversee the training of current and new managers by providing guidance, coaching, feedback, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Track the progress of managers and employees through the CSE University training experience. Work with the Internal Communications manager to publicize training success of employees and departments.
Build Strong Relationships throughout the Organization to Facilitate Training:
- Work closely with senior leadership to understand business objectives and align training initiatives accordingly.
- Build strong relationships with employees at all levels to ensure the successful integration of training programs into daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote the value and benefits of training initiatives.
Learning Technology Integration:
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in learning and development.
- Evaluate and implement learning management systems or other technologies to enhance training delivery and tracking.
- Keep up to date on training companies and sources that, if leveraged, can advance training excellence at CSE.
Assessment and Measurement:
- Develop and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Use data-driven insights to make continuous improvements and demonstrate the impact of training initiatives on organizational performance.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational needs.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to monitor and enhance the overall effectiveness of training initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required
Proven experience in a senior training management role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Experience with learning management systems and other training technologies.
- Ability to analyze data and measure the impact of training programs.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in training and development.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of related experience with at least 3 years of HR management experience.
