Efficiency Maine’s EV Accelerator Program

The Center for Sustainable Energy supports Efficiency Maine’s Electric Vehicle Accelerator Program, which promotes the adoption of cleaner, more efficient and less costly to operate and maintain EVs.

The program provides point-of-purchase financial incentives to residents, businesses, nonprofits and governmental entities through participating new and used car dealers in Maine for the purchase or lease of qualifying battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. Rebate awards range from $1,000 to $7,500, depending on applicant category, type of vehicle and income qualifications. 

CSE assists the program by handling customer service and processing rebate applications, which are filed by auto dealerships and direct manufacturers.
